The system provides a centrally located control panel where each lighting zone can be manually or automatically reset to a pre-defined state, regardless of its current status. The system is used to switch lighting off from a remote location or via BMS control signal to realize energy savings.

The Track 3000 three zone controller is used to control large open source office, area, and is generally used to drive normally open contactors. The single reset switch is primarily used to control lighting in offices and similar small areas.

How does it work?
The Clipsal Track 3000 Reset System is used in conjunction with wall mounted local light switches (momentary ‘Bell Press’ type). The Track 3000 Reset System provides a centrally located control panel where each lighting zone is automatically switched OFF via the central control panel and manually controlled ON or OFF via the local light switch.

The control philosophy of manual switch ON in local work areas of a commercial building, therefore it generally located near the entrance to that particular Zone which allows occupants of a Zone to have full local ON/OFF control of the lighting at all times. It also combined with automatic control, central switch OFF after normal working hours to achieve significant energy cost savings by ensuring that lighting is only ON when needed.

The system allows time-based control via C-Bus or Building Management System (BMS), Zones may be turned on or off at certain times of the day according to pre-defined switching schedule.

The Track 3000 unit allows control of three separate open plan Lighting Zones in a commercial building. The unit also has an auxiliary output to allow time-based switches of cellular offices with installing Clipsal Reset Switches. Control of Cellular offices in conjunction with Open Plan Zone control provides the most efficient lighting energy use in Commercial Buildings.
